I am currently in my 5th year of the Joint Ph.D. program in Quantitative Psychology and Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Zhiyong Johnny Zhang and Prof. Meng Jiang. Prior to that, I received my bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Technology at Sichuan University.

My research explores the intersection of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), quantitative methods, and computational social science. I am particularly passionate about developing machine learning and text analysis methods for psychological research. My current work focuses on:

  1. Integrating machine learning with structural equation modeling (SEM) to analyze psychological data.

  2. Leveraging large language models (LLMs) for suicide intervention and mental health support through text understanding and generation.

Substantively, my work applies to the areas of psychology, health, and education. Additionally, I’m interested in analyzing social media to explore topics such as public perception, social bias, and digital feminism.
